Brittney & Jeremy's Engagement

It's shoots like this that make me feel like I have the best job in the world...

How often do you meet new people and within an hour you make two new wonderful friends!  Well that was the case during my engagement session with Brittney & Jeremy.  These two were so much fun not only to photograph, but even just to be around.  We had a fantastic time sipping wine, roasting mallows and making smores.  I am absolutely thrilled that I was asked to be their photographer for their wedding this September.  I look forward to seeing them both decked out to the nines and busting some moves on the dance floor.

Aly & Adam's Engagement Shoot

I had a fantastic time this past weekend capturing the love of Aly and Adam.

These two have been together for 8 years and are getting read to tie the knot in Mexico!  It was absolutely heart-warming to see the way these two looked at each other.  I don't think Aly stopped smiling the entire time.  We had a great time wandering around an old airforce base, weaving our way through tall grass and trees.  It was simply beautiful.  Congratulations you two on your engagement, I wish you both a life of love, laughter, health and happiness.

Jenn & Derek's Engagement

I had a wonderful time yesterday afternoon capturing the love and humour that both Jenn and Derek brought to our shoot.

We strolled through a beautiful, lush path which led us to a private beach where we were able to enjoy the incredible view without another soul in sight.  Jenn and Derek are an absolute hoot to be around. They were both game for anything so I took full advantage of their willingness.  Whether it was climbing up a huge hill and posing at the top for me, or walking the plank on a slippery log with nothing but mud and water to cushion their fall, they were always up for it.

I have know both Jenn and Derek for many years.  I absolutely adore them both.  They are great friends of mine and I can't wait to celebrate their marriage in 2014!

Here's wishing Jenn & Derek a wonderful engagement!  Love you guys!

Matt and Heather's Engagement

It's not everyday that one of my best friends gets engaged, nor is it, that I have the opportunity to do a photoshoot capturing such a wonderful occasion.  Yesterday I had too many laughs to count with my dear friends,  Matt and Heather.  Our playful photoshoot consisted of lightsabers, lego men & suspect literature.  This makes me really appreciate the job that I have where I get to be creative and spend so much time laughing and smiling, especially in this case where it's with people I absolutely love and adore.

I can't wait to witness and be a part of Matt & Heather's wedding.  It will truly be an evening to celebrate.  Congratulations you two.  I can't wait to watch you both grow old together and continue to fight over the remote.  <3

Jen & Josiah's Engagement Shoot

It was my second time capturing the love and hilariousness that is Jen & Josiah.  These two are so much fun to work with and our shoots are always such a blast!

We headed back to the location of Kit's Beach in Vancouver where Josiah originally popped the big question!  We started off our shoot by digging our toes in the sand and making our way to the water's edge.  From there, Josiah and I walked up to the lush park while Jen was carried by piggy back, courtesy of Josiah.  Eventually we reached our final destination of the large Anchor near the docks.  The exact location where Josiah had gotten down on one knee and asked Jen to marry him.

I absolutely adore these two and I can't wait to be able to capturethe couple on their wedding day as they begin a life filled with love and happiness.

Kristin & Jeff's Engagement Shoot

Earlier on in the year, I donated a photography package to a fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Society of Canada.  The fundraiser was held at the River Rock Casino, in Richmond.

Kristin and Jeff were the recipients of the package and contacted me to do an engagement session.  

We me up at Steveston's, Garry Point Park.  There, we captured some beautiful moments in the rain.  It was great to meet this lovely couple.  It was their first ever photoshoot and they were very warm and wonderful.

Stacey & Sarah's Engagement

I was so excited when my good friend Sarah told me that she would be getting married to her lovely girlfriend Stacey.


We went down to Iona beach in Richmond B.C for a private photo session. There, they invited me to share a moment with them and experience first hand, the love that they share. It isn't hard to tell that these two are madly in love.
